We are excited to begin unveiling the new-look Masons Arms following the extensive refurbishment of our rooms, bar, and restaurant. While many of the rooms are now transformed, the finishing touches will be applied to others throughout the year - so you may notice some subtle changes to the way we do things.
Both refurbished and original rooms are available to book. All our new-look bedrooms are adorned with luxury mod cons, including a coffee machine, mini-fridge, and Robert’s Radio. There will be periods where some rooms will be closed while we install some final sparkles.

Cosy, comfortable and welcoming
Parking: We have free parking located next to the inn.
Accessibility: Most rooms are accessed via a significant number of steps. We do have one wheelchair accessible room – please speak to us directly if you are interested in booking this. Please note, there are also some steps and ledges involved when accessing the pub.
The Area: Branscombe is situated in a village at the bottom of a steep hill. Although access to Branscombe Beach is flat, other places in the area will be hard for guests with reduced mobility to get to.
Dogs: Dogs are very welcome at the Masons in a few, specially selected rooms. If you would like to bring your doggy companion with you please ensure you call us to make the reservation, if not your booking may not be accepted. Dogs are charged at an additional £15 per night.
Check in/Out: You can check in anytime from 4pm - 10.30pm. We ask that guests check out out thier room by 10am on the day of departure.
T&Cs: Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible.
If cancelled up to 48 hours before the date of arrival no charges will be incurred, if you cancel later than this the first night will be charged. In case of a no show the total price of your reservation will be charged. A deposit, cancellation charge and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as specified.
It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday / cancellation insurance where required.
Any refunds will only be made to the card details the original charge was made to.
Group reservations will have different terms and conditions which will be agreed at the time of booking.
Booking terms may vary during Bank holidays and when there are special events.
Damages: We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the property during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.
Please note, photographs are only a representation. Our rooms are just as unique as the buildings and locations they’re in. You may find that your room differs in style, but you can be sure of a warm welcome, comfy bed, and delicious dishes when you stay with us.
